I have a B618 22d i guess it is a bit older but still works really well. but finding an antenna that actually works with it is almost impossible.B618 65d

You might actually get a pretty big improvement if you switch from a 22d to a 65dI have a B618 22d i guess it is a bit older but still works really well. but finding an antenna that actually works with it is almost impossible.
Yeah signal aggregation might be way better than just getting an antennaYou might actually get a pretty big improvement if you switch from a 22d to a 65d
Mind explaining a bit more please ?Yeah signal aggregation might be way better than just getting an antenna
Mind explaining a bit more please ?
I believe it "fuses" two bands, the 22d can only use one.
I think - I speak under correction
Huawei is pretty good compared to other brands if you go by price. You're going to pay a lot more for a Netgear.Right I did a search for a custom flash that will allow access to hidden functions. Unfortunately I didn't get anything. So maybe it is time to get something else like a Netgear or maybe something a bit more industrial. The fact is Huawei hardware is not that great just wish I knew this when I spend the money on it...

The B618-22d does not support band 40 (2300 MHz). The B618-65d does. It's a hardware thing. Custom firmware can't change that.
You can still aggregate Telkom LTE with a 22d Band 1+ 3 (1800+2100), but only some towers support 2100 MHz.
Most of the speedtests done here are all done on 2300 MHz. That's where Telkom's magic happens.
Don't just buy another brand LTE router. If that brand does not support the Telkom bands, then you won't see a difference. Try and see if you can get a second hand B618-65d

You won't be able to access band 40 on that and that's where Telkom's magic happens.Right so:
Band 40 is 2300 MHz to 2400 MHz
So if a router supports the following: 1800MHz, 2100MHz 2600MHz on LTE that means I should be good ?
What 1900MHz 2300MHz 2500MHz 2600MHz range ?You won't be able to access band 40 on that and that's where Telkom's magic happens.
It would work perfect for Rain's 4G though.
Yea don't stress about it to much. I realized that I was looking for a unicorn.
My Telkom speeds will never be good or this stable as shown here. No matter what I do...
I say this because there is no Telkom infrastructure. They are sharing towers and that is why our service is so very bad.
I feel it is correct to assume that Vodacom customers will always get priority over Cell C and Telkom that is to cheap to build their own infrastructure.
Telkom you make me:![]()
What 1900MHz 2300MHz 2500MHz 2600MHz range ?
I am actually very angry because there is no one product that can just support this but we will see.
Thanks for this info. Wasn't aware.Right I did a search for a custom flash that will allow access to hidden functions. Unfortunately I didn't get anything.
