Naturally.mmm really odd then. Have you tried a hard reset?
hope it resolves it self sooner than later...Naturally.
Considering other options as this is a deal breaker. It's been very good to me though, it must be said.
I think you meant mythical, because I am in coverage with a 5G Samsung using an esim. Asked customer care about it but was given the runaround as is to be expected. Not seeing it on mobile yet, but they also haven't formally announced it yet although I do see it in the booklet being advertised on different modelsAnyone been able to connect to the magical "5G" Telkom network yet?

@Afrigirl can you please confirm by what date I need to cancel my 2TB package to not be billed for another month?
I don't have anyone or any use for it after I get fibre. I still have another Telkom LTE sim from AH that I keep as a backup that I will use when on holiday or whatever.She is on leave.
@AfriNatic could assist.
PS: Can't you sell/transfer the package to someone instead?
I travel a lot and fibre doenst do it for me. Lots of times I need data, might just consider that 2TB soon.
We take it with and pack the router too, never ever an issue. Ironically telkom mobile has coverage where others dont.
No idea about roaming as Telkom mobile has been available in all the areas we use our router.So when the Roaming setting is enabled on these sims, will it still be usable when you exit a Telkom coverage area and enter a Vodacom/MTN area?
And will the handover be seamless?

That's horrible. Change to the unrestricted APN (assuming you're not on it due to the IP, and assuming your signal is decent). Occasionally, Internet/TelkomInternet have given me similar speeds.Just bought this today. Looks like I'll never reach the 2TB cap with these speeds. Using the D-Link Cat6 router. Had to pay extra R80pm for the router. I have other routers with me but with slower max speeds (like 100Mbps instead of the 300Mbps of the D-Link. So I decided to get a better router because I though I'd be getting speeds of over 100Mbps). Looks like I shouldn't have bothered getting the new router too.

How do I switch to the unrestricted APN? These are the options I have. It was set to "internet" by default. Tried the two Telkom APNs and they gave similar speeds. It's ranging between 15Mbps to 22Mbps download right now (10am Saturday morning). Slows down a lot in the evenings.

Edit: Googled and saw that we change the profile name and the APN to "unrestricted". So changed it to this but speeds are similar afterwards:

DO you have network booster? External network signal outside? How far are you from the Telkom tower? Did you test Telkom using mobile data to check Speedtest in your area before considering Telkom contract? Huawei routers? Nokia router? Tp-link router? Why choose D-link router? Those are the questions before buying especially where a contract is concerned. On any network. On my mobile router Huawei I reach speed at 45 mbps 4cats router
