I don't mean pictures taken with the onboard camera. I mean pictures taken with my dedicated camera.

I noticed that as well and was very surprised to see no big song and dance about it on the vodacome website... very strange since there are going to make a gajillion dollars from the 3G iPhone!
 
Maybe the mandated retail price of max $199 has thrown them for a loop?
 
Where do you guys get the price from? As far as I can gather that's the subsidised price on AT&T. I seriously doubt that the phone will be available for R1500. Heck, if it's true I'll get 2... and I'm not keen on the phone to start with.

I want to buy one. Looked for contact details for a vodafone store online and cant find? Anyone got details for a store in Cape Town? And whether or not you can buy the phone upfront, or does it have to be on a contract? And last question - the R1500 model, memory space? 4GB?

I would assume the contrary - dont forget Vodacom stands to make a lot of money charging for the data.

Firstly, its only coming later in the year (either July 11th or later)

Secondly, the price isnt confirmed yet. The base model will be the 8GB model though
 
Thanks fxit- I don't want to wait :( lol. 8GB with phone and GPS for +-R1500.. something about that sounds too good to be true.

But if jobs said it, then I guess vodacom can't back down now.
 
I hate contracts, but i'll take one just for the iPhone....

No details available yet... and the 8GB "should" be sold for R1500
