hmmmm... links to vodacom4me.co.za - but there is absolutely nothing on their site re the iphone - not even an announcement. One would think they would have some hype about it at least.... jusdging from comments on myadsl, it is a big thing to be released here.
From Steve Jobs' speech at the WWCD as reported here.Where do you guys get the price from? As far as I can gather that's the subsidised price on AT&T. I seriously doubt that the phone will be available for R1500. Heck, if it's true I'll get 2... and I'm not keen on the phone to start with.
"The price is a maximum of $199 all around the world -- we're really, really excited about the new iPhone 3G. And as you might expect, we have a new ad! I'd love to show it to you."

I would assume the contrary - dont forget Vodacom stands to make a lot of money charging for the data.Mmm... ok, but I'm guessing that's with a contract and not buying the phone outright?
I want to buy one. Looked for contact details for a vodafone store online and cant find? Anyone got details for a store in Cape Town? And whether or not you can buy the phone upfront, or does it have to be on a contract? And last question - the R1500 model, memory space? 4GB?
