Morning Gents,

i have a quick question- i recently moved to a new house but i am having problems with signal, so i bought an external antenna(Network Booster) now i just require a modem for me to plug the antenna into, the modem i have currently is a E5331 Huawei router which can not take an external antenna, the reason i dont just move over to a different service provider is because i signed a contract with 8ta- im also not looking at coming out of it as their rates are awesome

so it all comes down to where can i get such a router?

Have another look inside that modem - there is an antenna plug but I don't know if it's functional and whether it connects to the wireless or cellular side of the device

The only one I know of is the Huawei B693, which I use. I got mine from 8ta. The B593 also seems to have connectors, if you're feeling rich, and want to upgrade to LTE.

You should be able to find the antenna socket on your router ah, if you connect the antenna and the signal is still not used or not, the possible reason is that you are buying your router does not support the antenna, maybe you should buy an original antenna
