3g on virgin mobile?

Bullpoo. Some very lucky people get 3G on vigin ut 99% of people don't.

I have a phone that supports UMTS900 and don't have access. Not in Cape Town, not in Joburg. I have been to the virgin store numerous times and asked/complained about it. Always the same answer, they'll be getting it soon... I have tried different sim cards as well and checked with friends. NO 3G!

Just noticed the "H" at top of screen and came to forum to post
It switches sometimes from "H" to "3G". Just about always on "H" though. Don't know which is faster.

I'm in Cape Town, Woodstock area. Outskirts of town.

It's fast as well, just tested downloading a 5mb file. Downloaded in 8 seconds. Thats around 5mb/s. Will test on speedtest.net when connected to PC tonight.

i get 3.5G almost everywhere in durban .i was pleasantly surprised to see that when cellc upgraded the network ,us virgin guys also got upgraded.if your phone supports it.

please specify the locations you were able to get 3g , as i live in queensburgh and theres none , drove all the way to morningside this morning and didnt pickup any 3g either :?
