Hi all
Can anyone recommend a decent 3G USB dongle? Very important is support for both Mac and Windows, especially Mac. In the past I found that those with browser based user interfaces are generally more solid and less prone to compatibility issues, where those brands with its own little interface application had a lot of hickups when it comes to moving from Mac to Windows and upgrading operating systems etc.

I guess manufacturers don't support these type modem dongles for a very long time in terms of driver updates, so my thinking is that one with a browser based interface should last longer before being unsupported by updated operating systems, browsers etc.

If the price is right, I'll even consider LTE ones, but for my use case, the LTE ones I see around are stil too expensive.

Get one of the mobile 3g/lte wifi routers.

Recommendations for a good one which is also well priced?
Last time I got one was years ago for work. Was a Huawei. Still going strong but someone else is using it. Cost R850 back then

Do you perhaps have a model number and its user interface, is it browser based?
It is browser based. See if I can dig the model number out for you but doubt they are even still made.

Little battery operated thing, 10 devices at a time can connect via wifi, charge or connect via USB.

The battery operation handy for bad signal areas as you can put it somewhere that gives it better signal.
