I've got a Blackberry Curve 8900 on Vodacom....

Are there any charges when using 3rd party apps such as Facebook for Blackberry and Ubertwitter? Or does this fall under the general unlimited browsing?

If there are any charges, is there a way to make sure that these apps connect through the Blackberry APN?

Clear your APN under Options > Advanced > TCP

EDIT: Just to add - This will make sure that only apps that use BIS are able to connect. General rule of thumb is that most JAVA apps (MxIT & The GRiD) wont work via BIS.
