Does anyone know how long this 4mbit trial is going to go on?

Trail is finished and done now. ended beginning of Febs.

So 4mbit is now official, and 1mbit has fallen away.

So the 4mbit trial was proved successful, and now it has been implemented? I heard it was ending in February, but I'm still getting full 4mbit speed.

Apparently everybody's speed's being upgraded: 384 > 512, 512 > 1024, 1024 > 4096

Not sure this is official. i do recall someone suggesting this, but cant remember it being confirmed.

According to the Telkom website it is official.

Latest ADSL Changes

Just had 3 clients upgraded and unofficial two of my Telkom contacts locally confirmed the change as well.

I am most likely missing something but I don't see anything on above link about upgrading of 384 or 512 lines - also they still refer to the 4096 as a trial.

I posted something like that on this forum somewhere but I did state that it was my personal opinion and I have no inside knowledge into it.

It just seems logical but Telkom has never been known to be logical ...

As far as i know only people getting upgraded are the 1meg users.. They are have now been upgraded to 4meg...

Cant wait for next week.. Gettin my 4meg line..
