4Mbps Line Syncing at 3.7Mbps normal?

Happens to me every week.
I call 10210, speak to a consultant and ask them to run line optimization on the number for me.
Works everytime,sync rate goes back to what its meant to be.

Some consultants dont know what it is though,and try and do a port reset.
Been calling every week since Feb

keep calling them and ask them that PROFILE OPTIMIZATION has lowered your line speed and you would like them to reset it. i found this term out over the weekend after struggling with incompetent telkom employees until i finally got someone who understood what i was telling them.

She told me on their side its called PROFILE OPTIMIZATION and you can request that it be disabled so that assia doesn't **** you around. you can also call back and re-enable it since sometimes its actually ups the speed passed the paid for speed.

This. i had to drop the call and call back to get someone who knew something, the first lady wanted to log a call even after i told her the tech will come find nothing wrong and charge me a ridiculous amount.
