Means you on an old card or dslam/UMC box isnt upgraded and you dont have to replace the router its working fine.

Sometimes even being connected at adsl2+ and having good line stats is not enough as you may still be connected to an old umc box. I'm not sure exactly how it works but I'm still not able to sync above 4mb while connecting at adsl2+.

Broadband stats says yes, telkom checker no but I think I'm connected to an old umc box inbetween me and the exchange so I can't get 10mb yet.

I'm on a TI Uncapped 4Mbps and I've been wondering if my line would be be able to sync and be stable at 10Mbps? It currently syncs at 8Mbps and is stable. Below are my router stats. What do you guys think?

You shouldn't have a problem at 10Mb.

I have 41.5 downstream, noise margin of around 12 with stable syncing at 10Mb.

Call them and tell them to up you, you can always call back later and ask them to drop you if you have issues.

hmmm your line does sync at the newer speeds aka 4095/511 sync , try forcing your modem to only sync at adsl 2+ and see what happens, if it does sync , maybe the dslam backbone is not upgraded yet.
