4mbps uncapped!

Have you seen what IS ask for their 1024 Uncapped Fibre? More than R5000pm, now put that together for a 4mbps line and you'll end up paying R20 000.

No that is not correct. You get different uncapped adsl options from IS.

Uncapped over Satellite - about R1400 over 512
Uncapped over Fibre - about R2800 over 512

So obviously its more expensive but they do have more than just satellite internation bandwidth options for uncapped.

True but I think they then lease capacity on SAT3 from Telkom/SAIX unlike WebAfrica, Axxess etc. that get charged per gig.

Can someone tell me how much data one could actually download with a 4mb line? Must be a @#$t load.

@ 420k/sec u can do 1gig in about 45mins or so..
so called it in just over 2 hours u can burn that 3gig cap away.
