Bought this the other day and used it first time last night. It does chew through your monthly night surfer allocation first. Had about 4GB of night data remaining on my 20GB+20GB contract which was used first. Still worth it though. Not sure I'll have enough things to download to make use of the full 500GB anyway. Need more hard drive space as well as time to watch things.

Matrix hardware Hatfield was/is selling 2TB external for R999 , of course right now they're sold out.
