How much will you save on your monthly ADSL bill?

Any good reason why the line rentals were increased? Or were they just trying to reflect bigger decreases in the ADSL access portion of the cost? But overall any decrease is better than no decrease:)

Not even close to double the speed but you have to pay more than double the price.

Thats good for my pocket, but on the note of 384kbps clients getting a better deal....Wasn't there thank about Telscum upgrading everyone from 384kbps to 512kbps (or somewhere in that region :p Lord knows that no speed is guaranteed) for free? If I remember correctly some discussions earlier in the year

OT - We should have an emoticon that "Ponders" with an and index finger across the lip and eyes rolled :D

Absolutely, Adlo. I think Teklom wants to compete with the likes of Vodacom/MTN who, uptil now, offered lower cost entry level products (those that need 1 GB or less per month).

Once you have the customer buying your entry level product, chances are they may soon upgrade, and a switch to a competitor's product is then less likely.

1GB of data is now cheaper on ADSL than on Vodacom/MTN although one can still argue about the speeds.

Nice table. Its good to see how much we will ACTUALLY be paying, and not the 38% decrease bull that telkom is feeding us.

I would be happy to pay an all-inclusive R 530 odd a month for 4MBps if only it was uncapped! Instead, we have to pay on avg about R60 per gig on top of that.
That's the only killer left in the SA ADSL space for me!
(repeats for the umpteenth time...) Please free up the SAT3 landing stations Ivy! NOW!
