8800 GTX cooler

Hey...
after i almost lost my cpu from overheating, i want to make sure it doesnt happen again. i want a new cooler for my Gainward 8800GTX as its running 68 Degrees idle. I have no idea why everything is so hot in my case... i have 2 120mm fans, one in front and one in the back, and 2 small fans on the side over the VGA card and cpu.

both have there pro's and cons. But im not sure which one would be the best. the Accelero Xtreme 8800 Cooler says G92 is not supported and im not sure if my card is G92 or G80. and the HR-03 says i need to buy a "atleast" 92mm fan and install that- which they say is not easy.

any help on this matter would be great thanks!!!!

Your card is G80. G92 is the 8800GT onwards.

ok then ill get the HR-03, but what about the fan(s)... i have no idea about installation etc???

please advise on fan to use as well... someone suggested 92mm vantec tornado fan but its noise level is around 54dB???? gees...

Gees, you don't need such an expensive fan...I'm running a std, Cooler Master blue led fan and its doing the job amicably ...Any relatively main stream fan will do.
