8800GT pricing...

Not a bad price, and PNY is known. Not so much in SA though.. This isn't an OC card though.

Seeing as Prophecy are sold out this would be my next stop atm.

The PNY is a great brand. I'm using their memory modules and is working great. It is particularly an overseas brand where you can get them from ebay etc. However make sure that wantitall provides warranty on the product as it will be difficult to ship overseas get it fixed and then shipped back...take awhile.
 
So anyone that ordered from prophecy, have you heard anything yet about the 8800gt cards, are they still on schedule?

One thing I hate is waiting, emailed them yesterday but have not received a response yet, ergo, I have to wait again
 
Im guessing they prolly wont be on time, but im really keen to know how the card does when someone has one.
 
I wonder how many 8800GTS's are available on eBay etc. now at low prices

Well I actually couldn't find him either. There isnt anything in the dealers section that I coud see, and there is only a member called rebel-tech, who hasn't posted anything.

Is this a private dealing he's doing?

Andy is very well known on SS, I wouldn't be worried about him.

Haven't bought anything myself though.

Too bad there is no stock, like he says. :(
 
Well received an email from prophecy (and thanks to them for responding to my b!tchy emails), and professionally and calmly told me, that the cards are in the country (they arrived yesterday). So now it just needs to get past customs. So they might start sending them out this afternoon or friday during the day.

I am hoping for this afternoon, but atleast they are here (but we all know customs)

Yip, dont think we will be getting it before middle next week, customs are notorious time waisters, and this being friday, nothing is comming in to this country
