Yes, it's new, and it is a VERY good price too. It pays to be 'faithful' to your supplier and not constantly shop arround for the cheapest prices but rather support who you like because of their service 
Shame, the poor guy forgot the card in the office too (I was supposed to pick it up at a party he went to tonite), so now he's delivering it to my house at 9PM when he's done at his party. THAT is what I call service

I'm also surprised that a physical (not online
) shop can have such good pricing. I don't even bother with any of the places around Cape Town.

Yeah they move serious volumes of stuff, and their pricing has always been good. Most of the times they were selling cheaper to the public than my wholesalers were selling to me!

My supplier got me a GTS, not a GTX... Which one am I supposed to be getting? Don't mind paying, but I don't want a end of life card either...

You can get those for +-R2000 second hand ATM, and then it's good brands that's got > 2 years (mostly) of their warranty left...

yeah stay away from the 320 and 640MB ones they are slower than the 8800GT
