8ta and Billion 7800GZ problem

I have got a adsl/3g combo router and cant get router to work with the my 8ta card. I have tested the sim card with a dongle and it works fine. I have tested the router with a vodacom sim and that works fine too.
When I insert the 8ta sim in the router it gives me an error saying connection is down?
Has anyone gotten their 8ta to work via a router and not a dongle ?

Same problem here china bean ... I have a D-link DWR 555 router ... Can't get it to work in the router ... Vodacom works though :/
