Your results posted here are actually pretty good to look at, as they are done on the same time of day and across weekdays and weekends. Here is a list of the results you posted (times are GMT):
2012-09-05 9:10 AM Wednesday 70ms
2012-09-09 10:21 AM Sunday 76ms
2012-09-16 8:43 AM Sunday 75ms
2012-09-23 10:49 AM Sunday 93ms
2012-10-04 10:00 AM Thursday 111ms
2012-11-26 9:49 AM Monday 92ms

So looks like something happened after the 16th of September. This shows a 30-46% increase in your overall ping. This would be a concern for me personally. High pings have a negative effect on VPN and RDP connections. While 90-100ms isn't bad, it isn't particularly good. 70ms is probably borderline for local connections.

Here are the better results from the other providers (chosen as you have an antenna, so you should be getting the best possible connection):
Cell C: 46ms http://www.speedtest.net/result/2272360260.png
Vodacom: 48ms http://www.speedtest.net/result/2159979583.png
The MTN speed test thread is very old, so I have left it out

Yes no doubt it weakened a bit, the dBm also went from -60 to -66 where it has been sitting for some time now , but I guess hence I say one should get a big bastard grid antenna from the word go. I see it here in Australia with Virgin and Vodafone which are absolutely hopeless in some metro areas on wireless.;)

My ping & downloads have been pretty decent for some time now:

Very happy with the service atm 8ta, so thankyou. Never get disconnects & the speed is quite constant. I'd rather have a 5/10gb monthly cap with speeds like this than fixed-line uncapped ADSL any day.

Well what can I say , I was warned by allot of people that 8ta will eventually overload their towers and internet quality will deteriorate. This has happened. I live in Australia and set it up with a High Gain grid antenna for my folks in PTA about a year and a half ago. Speeds were great and skype worked flawlessly.
All this BS....that a technician have to come out to the house is rubbish , that does not happen here in Au and it is simply towers being congested because of overloading and each cell can only provide that much power. The coverage map is also rubbish . I will certainly change them over to another provider in June this year and touch wood hopefully they will have a better managed Network than 8ta.
