8ta getting expensive

Does any one notice how expensive 8ta is becoming. I buy that 2 + 1 gig package. I normaly receive sms that says you are on 99Mb left. Then i go and buy another 2 + 1 gig package again. So its getting expensive for me now. How do you check your data balance. I looked in that little 8ta manual they gave you with your sim

so its getting expensive because you use it more and more? most products gets more expensive if you buy more and more of it...
