8ta mail

I saw the other day that 8ta is giving all the new numbers email accounts.

So I suppose I would be able to get one. I had my number before they started activating the 8tamail account.

I also saw that they are using windows live email. That kinda suck since it won't allow pop3 access.


I just wonder why they didn't go for gmail then instead.

They do hav

pop3.live.com (requires SSL, port is 995)
smtp.live.com (requires Auth and SSL/TLS, port 25 or 587)

Tested this on my Wildfire and it works

Ohh cool. Didn't know live supported pop3. Thanks this must be in a sticky. Free email with pop3 access.
