8ta not debiting my account

Im on my new months cap of data and have still not recieved my debit can someone pleazse advise .
 
Same here. signed up mid Sept. was told my acc will be dt'd by end Oct and nothing yet. I somehow managed to get through to accounts and was told they did send it but bank said " insufficient funds " :wtf: I was told that I can go and pay the account at the bank :wtf: and again :wtf: .Bank says no request has come through and that I would have seen it on my statement.
So 8ta rep any help here. Can I PM my number to you ?

I am having the same problem since I signed up on the 27th of June, I posted about it before here and 8ta rep asked that I email them my info and all, did that on the 19th of August and have heard nothing till date. I phone them now and ask them to email me a bill, have not received one of those either yet as some how they can't comprehend that the post office does not deliver post to a plot out in the sticks. I then do a EFT, can't fax them the proof as the fax number they keep on giving me is wrong as well?
 
If they do not debit my account while i am using their service, then its their problem :D

It's their problem now. Wait a few months and you will be sitting with a big problem. I had a similar problem with mtn and eventually had to cough up.

This whole account thing is a mess. We signed up on 8 July for the 10GB promo and only got an account three weeks ago with no instructions on how to pay the three months arrears and R200 connection fees. We were advised that R199 will be deducted on the 31st of October. That never happened. So, now we are in arrears again.
After receiving the account, we battled to find out how to pay the arrears and when we did eventually, we struggled to get to a fax machine to fax the proof of payment, copy of the account and ID through.
I am sorry to say that the admin and account's department are not following the standard process of debit orders etc correctly. Our bank details are correct and was double checked when we asked how to pay the arrears.
So, I want pay and 8ta does not want my money. Weird!
 
Call 8ta Call centre before its too late

Hi All

Recently got offered an 8ta contract and had the same problem. Two months went by and my bank statement never showed me any rejected debit orders.

Got worried that I would one day be surprised by a Crazy Bill! so I called the 8ta call centre, discovered that the subscription was accumulating.

Decided pay the "missed months" though cash deposit and now await this month end's debit. I hope Telkom fixes this as I can imagine how many other people are going through this which ultimately affects 8ta's bottom line.

I'm blown away though by the offering and how I earn minutes when another 8ta number calls me including 50 smses per sms I send.

Hope the 8ta rep sees how serious this is!!!!!!!! actually hope the sales director or MD catches wind of this!

Missed the payment end of November (my fault - sometimes payments into my account and debits from it miss each other, ie. insufficiant funds) still no call, but I get to use they're service though...

Will pay arears at end of this month if they do not deduct it from my account.
Remember - it is very easy to get blacklisted in this country for trivial amounts. ABSA listed me because I payed off my student loan in full!

HOW DO I GET 8TA TO ACKNOWLEDGE A PROBLEM ON THEIR SIDE?
