8ta sim, vodacom e220 huawei modem

Just got my 8ta 10gig sim card today. Does anyone know how to activate it or will it be activated automatically within 48 hours?

Also, is it possible to use me vodacom modem or should i purchase a 8ta modem? If I'm able to use my vodacom modem is there certain things I need to do first in order for it to work?

Yes, Yes.
Use any compatible dashboard except Vodafone installed with the modem. This is tricky, as when you uninstall this application, it will take out drivers from the system, but you need drivers. You can pickup drivers from Vodafone folder and save it in other location and reinstall it separately, tricky part. The easiest way is to keep software installed, but unload it completely from memory. Go to the options and select two options:
- Do not load at startup
- Unload from systray on exit

Save settings and exit. Now you can use any dashboard, you should perhaps try MDMA.
