Maybe when you RICA'ed your sim you used the same atrocious spelling you used now?

their. reference to a specific person or entity.
there. reference to a place or location.

I found the 8ta shop there. (gesturing towards a building perhaps)
I went to 8ta and bought their cellphone contract.

I also fail to see how you can commit murder using something non-physical like a phone number and blame it on someone else that might have that ID and the same misspelling of your name. I'm sure the police can put 2 and 2 together.

Capital letters and full stops aren't anything to be afraid of.

I am afrikaans so i would glady put it in that

unskinnybob: How do you commit a murder using a cel number?
If you commit murder using:
- gun: guns are killing
- car: roads are killing and you can get away from this...

Cellphone companies use RICA process to intercept your personal details (perhaps for purpose of reselling) and I am sure they do it illegaly to the prepaid users. Result is that any call centre consultant have access to your personal details.

On Cell C I had very similar experience well close to it.

I had 2 SIMs that I used for 11 months when I suddenly got a SMS stating that my service was going to be suspended if I did not RICA my cards. Good thing the MyBB user "Cell C" helped me out, as I had 3 cards and he just used the 3rd one fix up the data for the other 2.

Joke is I bought them in December 2010 (12x5 gig) when it was deemed illegal to activate cards without RICA info, so one has to wonder how effective the whole system really is.

even your afrikaans spelling is terrible!

Anyways ... back to your main issue. Agreed with you, it is frustrating when a tedious process is put in place for a (supposed) good reason but it is then poorly executed. I then question why the process was put in place to begin with. Another 'good idea' that failed to have quality controls in place ....

The first time I called 8ta customer care they knew my ID and name and surname and addres and this is on a prepaid sim. So yup looks like they have all the details you rica'd with.

Yip, they have. RICA didn't give them rights to intercept your details.
