A huge financial setback

Lots of item like 30 items from drive shaft I will try to post the quotation here. I'm not the one who damaged the car, the previous owner didn't disclose that the car was in accident.

Please do, and the pictures of the damage if you can, i've seen people panicking and wanting to return cars at the mere mention of and accident damage, even just a mere fender bender. How much was the previous owner quoted for the damage if you know?

Sorry, but 2 years for the car to get to the point of needing R84ks worth of work to the drive shaft and such and you're trying to blame the previous owner?

Drive shaft issues of that magnitude would be noticeable pretty much instantly the first time you drove the car...

Don't know since he didn't disclose the accident to me, I bought the car R65000 honestly beside the accident damage it's a great car. Never gave me any issues, anywhere after thinking long and hard going back to a long it's a bad idea.

Are you sure that car is not code 3? Fix it rather than making new debt.

I suspect that too hey where can I fine out, the history of that car. I don't know much about cars, I went with a friend to purchase it. Immediately I was impressed it was clean with low mileage, little did I know I was buying a lemon. Even now the car is still clean inside and out, only when you look under neath or remove the bumper you see the damage.

Late last year I was told that car was in accident, that is when I started to notice that the car even after wheel alignment it always pulling to one side. When not holding a staring wheel.

Then the alignment was not done correctly.
If the chassis was so bent that the wheels were not alignable, the operator should have informed you.

That price should have been the first red light. No such thing as a free meal in life unfortunately. Maybe there is someone else on mybb that might be able to pull the cars history.

Also the vehicle would never have passed a roadworthy in that situation, and would never have been able to be transferred into his name..

There are way too many holes in this story in my opinion.... nothing adds up.

Dealership can just pay money under the table to get it passed.

Yeah I bought the car on the 26 May 2016 and the road worthy test was done on 20 May. Like I said I don't know much about, cars but this taught me a lesson unfortunately I had to pay a big price for it.

I will try to post the quotation later when I get home. I was excited the car had low mileage and was clean plus service book.

The information I managed to get the accident, was never reported and I'm the third owner of this car. I have the names of the previous owners, but I have no idea how can I get hold of the the first owner, I believe she may know something like what really happened.

Honestly I would cancel all my clothing accounts (unnecessary expenses) and invest in some insurance that can cover me in a situation like this.

Even if you find someone affordable enough to do the repairs you are still going to struggle with parts, usually the panelbeater will scavenge scrapyards looking for body parts and that's how your car is fixed for cheaper.

Lesson here is that If your car was a popular make such as a Tazz, Yaris, Corsa or Polo etc. it was going to be a little easier and cheaper to get it fixed. Keep this in mind when deciding on the make of you next car if you decide to buy another car.
