Are there signs of a truce on the horizon?

The only way that Core can make friends is to treat every customer like this... and carry stock... and stop the price rape!

If there's bad service it get's reported, same with good service. It's always been everybody's aim to get Core's service level's up and the prices down. :)

Had an interesting chat at an istore the other day. Chap was saying that Core was concentrating on jacking up the service, and that it take a year or so to sort out.

Best route to get quick results would be to split retail into a independent company. That would level the playing field!

My opinion about Core was always that I did not agree with their prices but also that their service level and arrogance was my biggest concern. After all, I think many people will pay more if the service is good and the product of high quality.

After the shockingly bad service at Vodashops, I was really impressed by how iStore handled my requests, and I believe the credit is due.

We have to point out bad service in SA, but also give praise when it is deserved, regardless of industry.

PS: Just for a test, I walked into a Vodashop yesterday, and asked about the availability of the iPhone 3GS. The lady did not know there was a new model of iPhone, despite the large iPhone 3GS poster on the wall. Now that level of ignorance must be absolute bliss.
