A900 looks good for pros.

I have always liked what I saw at the luminous lanscape website -- now even more so

Now if only I had some spare cash for an A900 and a couple Carl Zeis lenses.

With modern TTL flashes, you use it exactly like the pop-up flash??

Many(most) pro level cameras dont have a flash on board. I think it could have saved the cost of a expensive external control unit flash as used in multiple flash setups.

Not quite F2.8 that lens -- it would be massive if it were. Its a f4.5 - F5.6. Still a great lens.

Ah yes sorry you are right, it is the 70-200 that is F2.8 not the 70-300.

I think the new 70 -400 F 4- 5.6 G will be killer. I can see it replacing two of my lenses.
