There is only 2 or 3 people left to support the system now.... poor buggers
EDIT: 2 or 3 people that know what they are doing and are supporting both Internet Banking and ABSA Online. From a team of more than 20 at the start of the year.
I managed to do all my payments this morning just after 8 without any problems.
Edit: I really like the new Absa Online interface they launched this week.
http://196.35.75.26:80/unavailable.html is unavailable, please contact system administractor.
Can't understand why ABSA leave the login screen up, even when they know there are problems behind the scenes. .
best way to stress test it hey!
I bet this is some oke under threat of retrenchment's revenge...
Clearly load test was not done.........................idiots.
I can just imagine the Sev 1 meetings taking place with 20 managers taking it out on those 2 juniors that are left
See, ABSA.. This is what happens if you fire half your IT staff..
Everything goes up in flames... those servers cannot maintain them selves...
This has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the retrenchment letters sent to IT staff...
But then again, who knows for sure...
Just a coincidence...
