Doubt it goes that far, but it has slightly stricter requirements than Investec...
and also no banking fees whatsoever....
Isnt that the same as FNB Private Bank - I have never had such shocking service in my life.

Are you thinking of FNB Private Clients? They're separate, and aimed more at high-income retail customers.
xrapidx : certain fees, yes... sorry.... but things like saswitch fees etc etc are gone from what I know...
and alf101 : yeah, if you have to ask, i'm also guessing you don't qualify![]()
Off the top of my head RMB PB are like R100kpm plus a certain amount of assets... but i will find out for you and let you know.
Making this exact same move 1 month ago and still unable to get fking FNB internet banking to work: Frustrating
But yes, ABSA lost my business too...![]()
Mine worked immediatelyDid you ask the consultant to make sure that it's working before leaving?
But yeah I also changed a few years back - ABSA to FNB as well. R66pm banking fee is madness![]()
Had this problem recently with FNB. Apparently the system was changed and even the branch you register your account with doesn't have permission to activate your internet banking. Basically they referred me to validations department - you can get their number by calling FNB. Or they can put in a request at the branch. You need to go into the branch though to get things done as I experienced. Just doesn't work over the phone. They need identification.

I didn't activate internet banking at the branch. I applied online and got limited access immediately. The next day I got a call from the verifications department to confirm that I had activated internet banking, then I had full access. I didn't have to go back to the branch at all. I don't know if the process has changed now
The NCA or Fica would have screwed that up.
