Hi, I signed up for a new VPS, but invoice shows cancelled and under services it is marked as fraud.
Why is that?

Hi there

You ordered a vps from an IP based in the Netherlands and your address is based in Pretoria.

Indeed, bouncing between the two countries. But that in itself does not constitute fraud tho

Hi @nahoR , in most instances where we find that the IP address the order is placed from does not match the address provided during the signup process, this is often questionable. Because of this we have external fraud prevention services that are used to limit our exposure to risk of, for example charge-backs etc.

Unfortunately there are sometimes orders that are unintentionally marked as fraudulent and these are normally manually checked. Could I ask you to kindly update your existing support ticket with your proof of address for the provided address on your account and once received we will review and revert back to you on the ticket?

Thanks for the feedback and that makes sense, as we’ve had other clients sign up for services whilst being abroad.

Please update the ticket that you created with proof of address and we’ll get onto this for you and respond via ticket
