I have a PAYG Vodacom sim in my UK phone. I have received a few calls which left a voicemail message.

I get an SMS after every voicemail message is stating I must dial 132 to listen to message. So I dial +27 82 132 on my Vodacom sim card and it answers, but asks for my Vodacom phone number. I enter the number and the call immediately hangs up.

Any ideas?

Try +27 82 121
That's their correct mailbox number here, could well work there as well. Maybe an escalated charge for you though.

Or just put on airplane mode, connect WiFi and connect to Voice over WiFi and dail as if in SA

Thanks, unfortunately...

"The number you have dialled does not exist" when calling on my Vodacom sim.

FFS, after 3 attempts I blocked the voicemail account.

Guess I will never know who left the messages now
