I suppose this is in essence about you breaking up with your gf a while ago.

Have you tried to win her back? If she does not want to be with you, why would you want to be with her so badly? Why would we want someone who does not want us? Counterproductive.

And trust me, you will meet someone else and look back at this time in your life and think "what was all the fuss about"?

Listen carefully to what I am saying to you: NOTHING LASTS FOREVER. Neither the good times, nor the bad times!

A very good tactic to try if you are feeling down/nothing/empty, is to go out and help those less fortunate than yourself. It completely shifts your perspective from me me me to seeing how bad other peoples' lives really are. There are people out there who have NOTHING, yet they remain hopeful, optimistic and even grateful for just a little scrap of food, some hand-me-down clothing and a friendly smile and acceptance from other people.

You should lead by example. Have a go at it and have someone document it and post it as a how-to guide for anyone else who may be interested.

we may give you crap, we may tease and call you names, we may be so interested in our own
lives, that we sometimes forget to call and say hey...but deep down every sister adores her
brothers.

Even if they have their parents and other siblings...brother and sister relationships
are special. Maybe your sister might not show she cares, but as long as you're alive, she
knows her bro is somewhere out there in the world. So before you think of doing this, think
carefully...will anyone be devastated at the fact you're no longer around ?

And IIRC, Acid got along very well with his sister's kids. They will surely miss their uncle if he is not around for them!

Of course it is about her. When he says, "The one thing I want, I will never have" he means her, or the abstract end result of her, being a family and loving wife.

Losing the woman you love can easily make you feel like you have also lost all the things that you abstractly connected to her. How you go about that is up to you. You are the one that has connected these ideas to her exclusively. So it is you that must disassociate them from her.
You can attain them, but you need to rip her away from the idea of them. Realise that you can get them elsewhere.
