Hi Guys,

I have a Cisco ASA5505 and I want to replace my ADSL modem. The telephone line to the exchange is very long thus high errors etc. I am replacing my current ADSL router it with a new ADSL 2+ version and was wonder what is the most stable and that will work best in bad line conditions. I was thinking maybe NetGear, but I have seen a few Billion and D-Link products.

Please can you guys advise me which brand / product is best suited to my bad line conditions :o

what does your Cisco ASA5505 support (features)? we have 5XXX as well as 7XXX Ranges, please supply me with more details of what features you need on the router so that i can recommend one of the billion products we have in stock that will meet your requirements.

Hi Billion,

It Support PPPoE, I don't need wireless just a stable and high connection speed over bad line conditions.

thanks :)

7300-RA for non-wifi or 7300G-RA (wifi) is nice!

Have to agree with MrNutz on this one!! Got the 7300RA - works like a charm, easy to install and not too expensive (R550) ;)
