ADSL 640kb upstream?

BIG thanks to photonman I am now at 512 up:D
Pity it's not 640 but i guess that's how it rolls.

all i did was tell them to reset my local connection port(lcp) and my upload went to 512k , this was about a month or 2 back
 
Dumb question, but what number do you call to get someone who understands what a LCP is?
 
ok simple tell them reset ur port , put ur modem off when they doing it then when u put it on n it re syncs u get 512

I won't work unfortunately, I checked the dslam he connects to, only will allow...
1mb down 384 up
2mb down 384 up
3mb down 384 up
4mb down 384 up

Unless, a higher Telkom power has some user rights to alter that :(

Are you talking about my dslam? :eek:
 
yup he is , 1 thing left to do , take a bat n break it then they should replace it would higher upload speeds
