Personally I asked the same question as the VDSL exchange is roughly 200m from my house but no, I instead got an excuse everytime I asked. I even asked if I sign up for a new number with VDSL or even just ADSL 10mb from the new exchange would that be possible, was told that the new line would connect to the same exchange I am currently connected to - 2-3km's away...
It's been a tough process as a majority of KRA residents are almost apathetic to everything and anything. Thank you for your efforts as well - this will be an awesome addition to the area and will ultimately benefit all! Flyers did
go out and fibrehoods is handling all the marketing going forward in area, street poles, box handouts and flyers.
As mentioned above fibrehoods is handling the marketing side of this project now - the RA's are also sending out there own communications. Yeah there is a lot of misconception about the sign up even though it's repetively made clear that it is a non binding agreement and if you choose to back out of it there will be no consequence we just need the numbers...
Close indeed I truly hope we can get the numbers as the amount of effort and meetings have been tremendous. I wonder if we can reach more people by speaking to neighbours and ask them to speak to the neighbours they know well, explaining the process and forwarding any queries onto the people who can answer them.
