adsl line problem

On tuesday our exchange was hit by lightning. I logged a fault with telkom. I live in a small town(orkney). Today apparently the exchange was fixed as everyone elses internet is back on. Mine is still down as the router will not synch. I tested it at another premises and it works fine. I phoned telkom again but they could not tell me what is happening. Is there someone that i could contact as it seems the guys at 10212 knows very little about whats going on. Had the same problem last year and it took them 3 weeks to fix it. Dont want a repeat of that.

it's late & for some reason I'm forgetting if it's a 1 or 0

the can re-sync your line & if needs be add notes to your fault & hopefully speed up the repair...

Get a query number, and also email [email protected] - add a bit of spice by saying you are a home business,Entrepeneur and would like this to be speedily resolved - because your BEE status depends on a functioning business and turnover

Thanks guys. I will try them in the morning. It takes forever to use internet from my phone.
 
Try connecting without the pots filter. That was my issue the last time after a storm in our area...
 
Telkom tells me that theire technicians are working on the problem at the exchange here...so I went there and guess what - there's nobody there. So I phoned telkom again a few minutes later and they say the problem has been resolved. But its not resolved...
