Ive logged a fault 4 times with telkom. All they told me was "the line is fine"

Contacted Charl and he added interleaving, but i still have the drops

Do you know your modem username and password?
Do you know your ISP username and password? (just in case)

If yes/yes then why not do a factory reset on your modem and reinstate the default settings ??

I do know the details, and i have tried the factory default settings.

Also tried flashing new firmware, still no success
