Not sure you should be posting that in this thread... but.....

Those are their hosting T&Cs. And I reckon it would be common for a "hoster" to reserve the right to check the contents hosted if required to do so.

Didn't want to start a new thread for the question.... thought it would be a quick question.

Those T&C were on their ADSL offering - I thought it looked strange reading through it that most of it was related to hosting.

We are looking at selling at R39/GB international only.

We will sell at R55 for 1GB international and 9 GB local. We may cut that price by another 15%, as more GBs are sold.
 
The STANDARD should be UNCAPPED at no more than R350 a month!!

I think there should be a minimum package of say R29 (Afrihost) with a max of 3 Gig for the people who cry about others who use more

the next should be uncapped at R300 to R350 a month

This will bring us on par with most other western countries.
HOWEVER...
Bear in mind that our salaries here are 10-20% of these countries where they pay this and which also includes:
fibre to the home, hundreds of free TV channels, free loacal calls and line rental all in one!!!!!
 
We will push uncapped also, at between R399-R499, for 384k night time and 192k daytime.

We will offer higher speeds uncapped, similar to Axxess', but we need to use a variety of ways to subsidise it, to bring it to around R599-R699.

thats the T&C for hosting- not browsing- unfortunately they have the wrong T&C posted- I have pointed it out to them, and they have acknowledged it and will be changing it soon

I have never understood the appeal of local only internet-where would that be useful. I dont normally download pirated stuff, so besides for local torrents??, what is the benefit?
