I have a 4 Meg ADSL line and would like to verify if the following speed is normal for a 4 MEG line?

Download Speed: 2854 kbps (356.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 439 kbps (54.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 16 ms
Jitter: 1 ms

When I had a 4Mb line my download speed was usually at 437 KB/sec transfer rate. Your upload rate looks similar to mine.

I normally had around 3.6mbps, before it started to act up and I went to around 2.2mbps. Mind you, I am probably less than a km away from the exchange

Your upload and your ping is fine, but your download speeds could be better.
