ADSL sync resetting

Ever since the storm my modem seems to be loosing sync every few minutes. Anybody else experiencing this in the Durban area?

I had it before, the telkom box where my cable was going to kept getting wet and they found that the main cable from the road was aslo faulty, took them 2 weeks to replace the main cable. the cable was like 20 years old, it had a date on it 1986 !!!, but after they did it i never had any problems again

Yup, I had similar problems as well, Teklom equipment kept getting wet and playing havoc with my ADSL. It seems to have improved recently tho.
