Hi guys
Hope you can assit ->
having some weird issues on my Adsl at home, where the sync seems to stay up for at most 4 hours.
The times it does drop, i disconnect/reconnect the RJ11 from the router a few times and voila it syncs and connects again.
My question being : Can this be a router issue or is there a way to prove its the line ( so that i can go blow up some telkom techies car
)
Router(yes i know its like old and stuph) : Telkom Mega 100WR

Connection Status Connected
Us Rate (Kbps) 640
Ds Rate (Kbps) 4096
US Margin 14
DS Margin 11
Trained Modulation ADSL_G.dmt
LOS Errors 0
DS Line Attenuation 37
US Line Attenuation 20
Peak Cell Rate 1509 cells per sec
CRC Rx Fast 13
CRC Tx Fast 0

PS - Is it possible to report line problems after hours? ( or weekends). Dont want to take 2 weeks of leave just to fix an adsl line
