I have tried reading all the posts but its just too much reading for little value so I am posting this in a topic I can find.
I have moved into a place that does not have a telephone line and I need some internet connection. My 500MB a month broadband doesnt cut it.
I tried looking on the Telkom website but left feeling stupid.
If I were to go ADSL, is it possible to just do monthly so if I ever need to "tighten my belt" I could cancel the line and service? They say the line is R189 but is this a phone line or ADSL line or do i also need to get an extra line?
Are there any benefits to going bigger than 20GB? Too many offers to see which is better, high cap or uncapped.
Should I consider a data plan (3G) or a wireless ISP? Again I need to be able to cancel with a months notice if money becomes tight or I find I dont need the interwebs at home.
