Advice needed - Solar System

Some early morning thoughts: So far I am not regretting my decision to go Solar. In fact I wish I actually did it earlier. As Eskom deteriorates and my area having longer and more frequent outages, the neighbourhood Whats App, blows up, as the electricity continues to stay down with no timeline in sight. I went to bed last night with the power still off since yesterday morning. My bedroom was a bit hot, so I switched on the Aircon. Bliss.

I bought a whole lamb right before the annual price increase last week, safe in the knowledge that I have a reliable power.

I know the feeling, my decision to do this more that 2 years ago was a good one, and helping friends and family do the same also gives me a priceless feeling. So many of them are apprehensive at first (and for good reason), but all are solidly convinced around 2-3 months after the install.

Tell us, how does it feel after 12 months? Did you make the right choice?

Yes, no regrets, I am glad I went this route. I am travelling at the moment. And load shedding is pain to deal with, since I dont have to deal with it in my day to day life.

:D Yep travelling locally gets me too, one gets used to a high normal standard of living!
