Advice on purchasing a Porsche

me ding a car on new years eve ?

beer, whiskey, tequila, champagne, absinth . . .and the distinct possibility of other "recreational" substances

cant begin to tell you how many times i have had to take a taxi home after "nipping out for a quick drink".

i have taken taxi's home because i couldn't find my car.

i have had a taxi driver chuck me out cause i was too trashed to recognize my house (we drove back and forth about 3 times), with me continually shouting "there, there it is" followed by "no no, carry on a bit".

on another occasion, i had a taxi take me home, had no cash left & told him to hang on for a minute or two in the driveway while i grabbed some cash - and promptly passed out mid wallet search.

and a few other incidents which are better to pretend never happened

Lol

Sounds like a scene from a movie

I saw a Porsche I can afford today on Autotrader

After watching the Patagonia TG special, that 928 doesn't seem like a bad buy.

928 has always been a special car, love the headlights on it. I would be careful about those two on auto trader though, i would get them checked out thoroughly.

On a budget like that I would look for a super clean 924. Easier to work on. Lighter. Fun!

Well the logic is the same.

It wasn't the cars fault, but the idiot behind the wheel.

True, you called Paul Walker an idiot though. No way he could have known the other dude is going to drive like a c()nt.

Paul Walker did many great things, he was a victim in this. Don't hate.
