I've never jumped up and down about either.

I believe there is a time and place for everything and it's directly linked to a safe degree of calculated risk.

Obviously nothing wrong with Tron's calculating risk ability because he posted that without any drama.

Here is a tip. Always state you were on a private road. This avoids the drama of forumites blasting you.

Most forums also give you infractions for speaking of breaking the law and telling racetales.

Just watch out for those.

Let's be 100% honest here for a second. What is the odds that a Person who bought a Porsche for that kind of money is going to crash it? You're more likely to be killed by someone in a Golf 1 doing 140 than a Porsche going 220 anyway. Let's not get on that high horse so quickly :p

Worked with a guy that got a brand spanking new m3, the next day his wife was a widow & his children fatherless. Many more like him out there. People tend to think these cars make them better drivers.

Not that I disagree there are many many chops out there with no clue how to drive...but you are basing a hell of a lot on assumption.

Also what's hilarious about your video is that the crash happened at <80km/h...therefore 220km/h is obviously much safer because Tron is still posting.

Seriously though, I highly doubt that the majority of these people who buy such cars will ever crash them. That is a type of car you appreciate as you worked your arse off to buy it.
 
I'm not condoning speeding or reckless driving.
I've always been careful with driving. I don't take risks and I don't drink alcohol or take any other intoxicants.
In 24 years driving I've had 2 fender benders at intersections at low speed that was not my fault.
Statistically most accidents happen close to home anyway.

Or work, wrote a car off 500m from work but not really my fault.

No worries I was on a very tall horse earlier, you seem like a responsible chap.

Toppie (76yrs) was very happy and reminded me of his young days when he loved cars and changed them every 2 years.
He was too scared to test drive it though.
Staff were happy I got it now before I was too old to get into it!
Neighbours also had positive comments
