Ahhh well, then you have a racing partner rolling the NU...

As per post #343 , I don't drive my car fast on public roads.![]()
Never even hinted...
There is a race track down the south coast![]()
Still trying to understand the driveplan limitations of not driving on the race track.
Anyone with insight?
According to the paper work, taking the car on the track voids your plan, not sure how they prove it though. I know quite a few guys that take their cars on the track, never had an issue - my feeling is they have it in the paperwork incase you have major mechanical failure due to driving the car too hard
The one thing I haven't looked into is track day insurance - let me know what you come up with here, what I've heard is if you aren't at a Porsche track day insurance is really tough to get put in place

Does it specify "driving" on a track or actually "racing" on a track?
I just want a safe place to exercise the cars muscles.
What do the GT3 owners do with their car if they can't take it on the track?
I think track is track regardless of whether your race or not... Insurance will be the same. tRoN, are you covered with Sela?
I'm sure most guys just ignore it and take it on the track anyway, i haven't heard of anyone's plans not being covered, but then I don't know anyone who has had serious mechanical damage to their Porsche's either.
Insured with MUA. Heard something about Sela but not sure why they are better?
Weird that a racing sports car brand has limitations.
I see the guys in USA have no trouble taking their vehicles to the track.
Is there at least an advanced Porsche driver course here ?
I joined the club.
Went to watch the autoX they had at Sibiya.
Most members have older out of warranty vehicles.

Again, I make assumptions, since there can't be TOOO many white Carrera S's on the roads in this poor little beach village.
But if you were driving along the M4 this morning, just before 8.... I think the guy in his older black Carrera S was very very jealous.
