The Aston V8 Vantage, which is what you'll be able to afford for low mileage 911 money, is relatively slow. Super pretty though.

M4 is terrible value for money. 1.2 bar once you add some options. Crazy.

I would put the Aston, and the Jag in the same SORT of league as the Porsche....

The M4, not a snowballs hope in hell its in the same class. Yes it might be as fast, but its just not a Jag, Aston or a Porsche.

I agree
I've driven an M3 before and the feel I got driving the Porsche certainly cannot compare. Just a simple dynamic of sitting low is the game changer imo
 
Check it has a USB port!

I'm not sure if they are standard and if you get pre owned, maybe wasn't ordered

Lol. I'd prefer something like xenon lights and could sacrifice a USB port.
 
I think (hope!) xenon is standard!

My stepfather traded his Cayenne Hybrid for a Cayenne GTS a few months back... Has Bose but no USB, which irked him a little as the old did

I've got a Touareg and the xenon lights were add ons. I'm happy with the SD though as I just chucked a shed load of music on a class 10 8gb card and select using the touchscreen. It sits quite flush with the dash and looks good as there is nothing sticking out.
 
So guys. As there was no stock there what can I expect to pay for a 2013 carerra base?

Even the base model is no real slouch in the performance department from what I can see...

Can't comment on the ride quality as I haven't driven one personally...

Obviously each to their own, at the R850k price marker, I would class the F-Type as the most gorgeous piece of metal on wheels.

beautiful it is. i base my comment not on personal experience but the expert opinion of jezza. trust the man when it comes to cars...

Xenons are optional... Both lights look similar as the halogens use the projectors as well... Only way to tell is the headlight washers

I dont value his opinion whatsoever when it comes to cars. His reviews have become completely pointless and somewhat annoying even. I prefer to listen to chris harris when it comes to cars
