Advice please... Best Budget 75" TV

Hey guys, new here! I've been really struggling with some research.

I'm in the market for a 75" TV, but I'm on a bit of a budget. Yes I know in my price range I could afford a far superior 65", but due to the size of my lounge/distance from the TV, a 75" makes a lot more sense and I think will be the biggest impact on my experience compared to the other elements of what makes up a good TV. My old 55" curved Samsung 4k is just not working in this space.

That being said, budget is at max 25k, but hoping to come far under.... what a bonus if it turns out that one of these under 20k TV's are actually decent.
Leaning on the more budget side, I'm seeing some decent looking offerings from Skyworth and TCL.

I see these two Skyworths floating around:
75SUE9500 @ R17k
75SUD9350F @ R13k discounted

Which is the better of the two? Very hard to find info online. I see the SUE9500 is QLED, but whether or not that's a benefit on this cheaper panel, I don't know.

Then we've got this cheap TCL:
75P635 @ R13k

The more expensive offerings from Samsung:
75Q60B @ R23k
QA75Q60CA @ R25k

Both QLED's I can hardly tell the difference in specs here, what am I missing? just a newer version?

And from LG:
75NANO776RA @ R22k

Is nanocell just a meme?

I also like Hisense, but I'm so overwhelmed with the differences, especially since the reviews I see online are for TV's with the same model numbers, but completely different specs in our country... So I've got no idea what I'm actually getting with a Hisense.

The room gets a fair bit of light during the day, but not direct sunlight. OLED is too expensive for me at this size. I play PS5 on it and watch TV, but I'm not a "pixel-peeper" really, I have my PC for that, but I do like good viewing angles and blacks to be as deep as possible on a non-OLED. I dont care about UI at all, I use a Google Chrome Cast.

Is there a clear winner of the bunch here? Or a good one that I've completely missed? Thanks guys.

I suggest that if you can't see the TVs in person, it's probably a safer choice to go with Samsung. Additionally, you can explore the Hisense thread on mybb to seek others' opinions On Hisense tv’s

Not unless he could afford a mid to high Hisense, entry level Hisenses have issues

Those Hisense models typically retail for approximately R25,000.

I would wait till Black Friday if possible, usually good savings on expensive TV's. I would also recommend trying to get a 120hz TV for gaming if possible. Bought teh Samsung frame last year and been very impressed with teh quality.

I have the skyworth 55(nicer Pic than my Samsung nu7100.) and couldn't be happier.. My buddy has the tcl and he's also happy and also wants to go bigger

The experiences shared here over the years have indicated that Black Friday is a joke when it comes to items like this.

Last year I was looking for a TV and numerous R 50k tv's going for R 30k, got R 10k discount on the Samsung Frame. Black Friday specials are often on the higher end stuff as people rarely buy them unlike the R 5k-R10k TV's. R 30k plus TV's will definately have a few specials

I've got a TCL 75inch and would only recommend it if you don't have cash for anything else. Had issues where the HDR setting would turn what we're watching into nightmare fuel after a while. Almost like it gets too hot. Shows would turn into goth style on occasion. Overall I'm still happy with it (for gaming) but my 8 year old Samsung TV has never had the same issue.

More importantly, look at the power consumption unless you are off-grid. My best friend bought a nice 75" tv about 2 or 3 years ago and it looks really nice but the power draw is a constant 400 Watts. That adds up to the electricity bill very quickly when you consider the tv is on for more than 10 hours a day. That's more than 120 units a month extra.

I'm not against Hisense at all - any pointers on the right one to get in 75" size? a lot of varients.

I've done 0 research on Toshiba... any good? I've seen mostly bad things about them floating around here.

I've been on here often, The Q60B and Q60C dont seem to score very well. Though a "mid" Sumsung is probably still better than the skyworth and TCL? though thats not always the case.

Theres Skyworth, and then theres Skyworth. Some seem to be better quality than others.. which model do you have?

Oof... yeah thats what I'm worried about. I've had my Samsung for around 8+ years as well with no issues.

10h a day sounds like a heck of a lot.. but yeah I get your point. Not too worried about this though, TV isnt used that often to make such a considerable impact.
