Advice please... Best Budget 75" TV

10h a day sounds like a heck of a lot.. but yeah I get your point. Not too worried about this though, TV isnt used that often to make such a considerable impact.
He works from home and loves his sport so the DSTV is always on, then in the afternoons kids get home from school and watch some tv before doing their homework etc and then each night the family watch tv until bedtime. He struggles with loadshedding on his little inverter and finds the 4hour slots are too long to keep it running.

I said to myself, I will never buy a Hisense again. Constant issues and the software is so slow and horrible.

Last year I was looking for a TV and numerous R 50k tv's going for R 30k, got R 10k discount on the Samsung Frame. Black Friday specials are often on the higher end stuff as people rarely buy them unlike the R 5k-R10k TV's. R 30k plus TV's will definately have a few specials

Numerous R29k discounts. Plz.

I would wait till Black Friday if possible, usually good savings on expensive TV's. I would also recommend trying to get a 120hz TV for gaming if possible. Bought teh Samsung frame last year and been very impressed with teh quality.

RTings.com also has some good youtube reviews so watch those before buying.
Reviewers have noted that the Samsung Frame offers picture quality similar to the Q60 series, which is interesting. However, it truly stands out as an amazing piece of art.

Yeah what they don't take into account is women. Wife was happy to pay that price for a TV that can double up as a portrait (Didn't argue just took the win). Either way happy with the performance and want to buy a PS 5 this December to test out the gaming performance

Buy the TCL. I have one myself, and it's great. Hardly ever watch it, but it's there, and its presence makes people think that I am normal.

You will be happy, very fruitful, multiply and fill the earth.

TBH that was far too expensive for my meagre use, never had a TV for the past 17 years, so I set a soft limit of R5k and a hard limit of R10K, because it seems to be the best value for money bracket.

I opted for this, got it for R6999 on special and I enjoy it, no regrets:

Kind of reviving this, but I'm struggling to find a good reason not to buy this TCL:

QLED, HRD10+, Dolby Atmos, HDMI 2.1, 120Hz (accelerated, so not native, but its something..)
At the price point of R16k? Somebody tell me what I'm missing. At this price point, it seems like a steal.

Even the LG Nano77 which is objectively worse comes in at 20k for the 75" on special.
Comparable in price to the Hisense U6k but again, the TCL seems like way more bang-for-your-buck.

Did you buy the TCL yet? Any feedback?
