I've asked this question once before - but can't find my question nor the answer :/ So I'll repost :

Would the speed of a camera (fps) enable it to take faster AEB sequences?

For example, would a 7D at 8fps have less time in between the shots than a 550D? So basically, less of a worry for movement or pets/humans if one wanted to do HDR on them?

I've always assumed it did ... but just want to be sure.

My bridge camera does 3.8fps and although I can do a live subject, I was just wondering if a faster camera would be even better.

Pity canon decided three bracketed shots would be enough on all but the 1D series cameras (maybe 5D too?).

I think 5D is also only 3 :/

But tethering it with that remote software allows one to up it, right ?

That's correct - I use DSLR Remote Pro on my hackintosh netbook to give me up to 15 shots iirc.
