I too got the Redmi Note 10 Pro from Vodacom, on the supplied firmware there is only one IMEI number.
Although the sticker on the back of the phone and the box has two IMEI numbers.
I have unlocked the bootloader and installed an Android 12 ROM and both IMEI numbers show in software.

I'm still waiting for my eBay-purchased dual sim tray to arrive to do final testing though.

Their was a member somehwere on this forum that had purchased a single sim Xiaomi from Vodacom but had re-installed the EU rom and could now see 2 IMEI numbers. He had ordered a dual sim from Amazon or somewhere and was waiting for the dual sim to arrive to test it. Not sure how far they got with this though.

That may have been me, unfortunately the Snail Mail office still has not received my dual sim tray :(
 
I have had the note 10 pro for just under 2 months. Its definitely a nice phone phone but I have had the following issues
1. The camera stops working and just shows a black screen, this has happened during a whatsapp video call the interesting thing was that the person I was talking to could still see me but all I saw was a black screen.
2. I am not sure if its speaker placement or how I hold a phone ( I have not had this issue before) when I put the on my ear i often have to reposition it to hear a call properly.
 
Update after 4 weeks of using the phone as my daily driver.

The good:

1 - battery life still excellent. With the screen set to 120hz, adaptive brightness, GPS on, developer settings enabled (and MIUI optimisation deactivated so that the AOD works properly), animations deactivated, Bluetooth connected to a Mi Watch and AOD active, I'm still easily getting through a whole day.

2 - charging. The powerful (33W is it?) charger that comes in the box does a good job of charging the large battery nice and quickly if you are ever in need of a quick top up

3 - fingerprint reader. Side mounted. Excellent placement. Very accurate. No issues to report

4 - screen. Bright and clear in most conditions. The adaptive brightness does make it darker than I'd like sometimes, but I suppose that is also the point

5 - AOD. Because the phone doesn't have a notification LED, the AOD is crucial for me. It works well. The icons for notifications are nice and big and colourful. And having it on seems to have only a negligible impact on battery life.

6 - wifi connectivity. On previous Xiaomi phones, I sometimes had problems with the phone staying connected to WiFi which was a huge irritation. I haven't experienced any of that with this phone. Good, solid connectivity all the time. Also good 4G and mobile signal when out and about (this does reduce battery life, as it would on any phone).

The bad

1 - the size of the thing. It really is quite hefty. Using it one-handed is very cumbersome. Compared to my Samsung S9+, it is considerably larger in every way. Having it in your pocket, you really notice it is there.

2 - occasional bugs. Every now and then the screen does a little hiccup or stutter when transitioning between apps for example. Hard to describe or replicate and might be because I have developer options enabled. It's a minor issue but worth noting as it might irritate some

3 - customising notifications. This is more of a faff than it should be. Sometimes the OS seems to override individual app settings which can be a hassle to sort out.

4 - notification icons. Using Nova Launcher (is there any other?) I can't get the notification access to stick so that I can have notification icons on apps on the home screen. I keep having to re-enable it every day at least. I think this is a MIUI issue, not a specific device issue, but it is very irritating

The average

1 - camera. I haven't taken too many photos or videos. Those that I have taken look good enough. I'm not a photography fundi but nice photos and videos are important to me. If I had to compare with the Samsung S9+ which I used for 3+ years before this, I would say there is not much to choose between the two. It's certainly not the best out there, but it should be quite sufficient for most.

Summary:

Would certainly still recommend. In fact, I have been recommending this device to all and sundry, for people who are looking for a lot of value but don't want to be dropping 10k+ on a device.

For what it's worth, the Mi Watch has also performed admirably in the 6 weeks or so that I've had it. It probably doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a Garmin or fancier watch, but it does what I need it to do, perfectly.

The dual Sim card tray arrived, and is working with only the installation of a custom Rom :)
I'm sure if I flashed the non-vodacom touched MIUI, it would work too.

Quick update with a complaint.

Took a video today. Nothing fancy. 2 minutes long. Phone got very hot very quickly. Then it completely froze. Then it eventually restarted. Then it was buggy for a few minutes. Then it was fine again.

Hopefully just an anomaly but I've never had anything like that on a different phone.

That Samsung S22 is eyeing me hard right now...

Xiaomi seems to be growing too fast and can't keep up with software update side of things. I've a Redmi9c which has yet to receive MIUI 12.5. The cheaper Redmi9a has it already for around 2 weeks now.

So we wait.

It has happened on a few Note 10 Pros.

A Youtube comment mentioned deactivating the AI setting on the camera.

Try to do that & it might fix the issue.

Also be careful of the new update on the Note 10 Pro. Apparently the selfie camera stops working afterwards

can confirm issues with the selfie cam. Sent mine back to takealot.
